Rhoda Joseph the Executive Director of Invest Dominica Authority, was detained by police on January 20, 2025, for questioning.
Joseph who is said to be closely associated with double murder accused Jonathan Lehrer is the main person expected to be his proposed surety for his bail which is now open and subject to several legal battles by the State.

According to investigations from Nature Isle News (NIN), court documents indicate that Rhoda Joseph purchased 13.2 acres of the Bois Cotlette Estate for the sum of EC$1,350,000.00 and the property has been duly transferred to her.
She was questioned in the presence of her lawyer and later released by the police.
