ROSEAU, DOMINICA-The Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation (DSWMC) continues its monitoring of the fire at the Fond Cole Landfill.
As shown in these drone photos from Clyde K Jno Baptiste of CKJB Photography, the smoke belching from the landfill has engulfed the Fond Cole, Canefield, Goodwill, and surrounding areas as fire officials battle to put the fumes from the landfill under control.
