As the shocking news continues to spread about the death of Ferdina “Ferdins” Frampton, a former colleague who worked with her at DBS radio pays tribute to her.
Paul Charles former Sports reporter at DBS radio had this to say about Ferdina –“In Caribbean media, the all-rounder in the newsroom is the organization’s MVP. It’s them who truly make the difference between good and great. Doubling up as a reporter, presenter, producer, editor, and presenter. Working long and challenging hours to provide information to the listeners and viewers. Mentoring and training all new employees without even being asked to. That’s just Ferdines for you.”
“Ferdines was one of those multi-talented journalists. She always delivered excellence in all aspects of broadcasting and writing. I will always remember her as a friend and a colleague. Also, she was a great team player at DBS Radio when we worked together. Sleep well, Ferdines!”
Steve Vidal is the manager of Kairi FM and he also extended condolences at the shocking news of her death.
“We are deeply saddened by the shocking news of her death. We will miss the excitement in her voice and passion for her work during our outside broadcast at FLOW Flag Ship Store,” Vidal wrote.
He continued, “Her charming voice and pleasant personality drew many to love and appreciate her. She mourned with those who mourned, laughed with those who laughed, and rejoiced with those who rejoiced. Rest in Peace with the heavenly angels.”
