Hundreds are expected to flock to the Church of Our Lady of La-Salette in Pointe Michel to bid final farewell to Ferdina Frampton who died on January 17, 2024, at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital at the age of 49.
Frampton who worked in the media for many years before moving to Cable & Wireless ( now Flow) heading the marketing department was a household name in Dominica.
She hosted a popular show in the Spotlight on QFM and is a former Ms Dominica contestant after which she assisted contestants in various roles. She also played a major part in the calypso art form in Dominica serving as Judge’s coordinator for many years.
Her body will be viewed from 1 pm at the Church in Pointe Michel followed by a funeral mass from 2 pm. She will be laid to rest in her late father’s grave Ferdinand Frampton in Pointe Michel.
On February 18, 2024, FLOW Dominica held a memorial vigil in her honour where close friends and colleagues paid tribute to the fallen media practitioner describing her as, “hard-working, loving, dedicated, passionate and committed about her work.”
