It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we extend our deepest condolences on the passing of National House of Assembly Speaker Emerita Alix Boyd Knight. Her departure leaves a void not only in the political landscape of our nation but also in the hearts of every Dominican who had the privilege of witnessing her dedication and unwavering commitment to the betterment of our beloved country.

Speaker Emerita Alix Boyd Knight was a true pillar of strength and an exemplary stateswoman who dedicated her life to public service. Her leadership and tireless efforts in the National House of Assembly have left an indelible mark on the history of Dominica. As the President of the National Youth Council of Dominica and Chair of the National Youth Parliament, we recognize the importance of nurturing and encouraging young leaders, and Speaker Emerita Alix Boyd Knight served as an inspiring role model for all generations, including our youth.
