PRESS RELEASE
On behalf of the Government and people of Dominica, I express deepest condolences on the passing of former Minister of Government, Mr. Julius Timothy.
Mr. Timothy served our nation with distinction and commitment during his many years in public life. As a parliamentarian and Cabinet Minister, he was dedicated to national development and to improving the lives of the Dominican people. He held several ministerial portfolios, including Finance, Health, and Urban Renewal, and served as Dominica’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Mexico. His contribution to business and public service will be remembered with gratitude.
I was privileged to work alongside Mr. Timothy in Cabinet between 2006 and 2014, and I witnessed firsthand his dedication to national progress and his deep concern for the welfare of our people.
I extend heartfelt sympathies to his family, friends, and all who mourn his loss. May his life of service inspire us all, and may his soul rest in eternal peace.
