Team Unity Dominica (TUD) joins with the Government and people of Dominica to express
sympathy to the family and friends of former House Speaker Alix Boyd-Knights who passed on August 29, 2023.
We are deeply saddened and our team joins family, friends, and mourners in their grief.
Speaker Emerita Boyd-Knights was not only one of the longest-serving speakers, globally, but she espoused other professional interests and traits which made her someone of extraordinary interest.
She has served her nation, and we recognize her for this. We pray for those who grieve: her family, relatives, associates, staff and friends, government officials and dignitaries with whom she worked, and all people of goodwill.
She has left a void.
