Roseau, Dominica – March 17, 2026- The Registrar of Cooperatives, Cooperative Division in the Ministry of Culture, Youth, Sports and Community Development, wishes to inform the public that the administrative supervision of the Dominica Cooperative Societies League has been officially lifted, effective March 17, 2026.
This follows a period of oversight instituted after an inspection of the League last year.
On March 14th, 2026, the League held its elections and a new Board of Directors was elected. The newly elected board members represent the following credit unions:
- President: Ms. Marie Louise Pierre-Louis – West Coast Cooperative Credit Union
- Vice President: Mr. Alganan Degallarie – Central Cooperative Credit Union
- Secretary: Ms. Nadette Williams – National Cooperative Credit Union
- Treasurer: Mr. Francis Paul – West Coast Cooperative Credit Union
- Asst Sec/Treas: Ms. Erma Lee – Grand Bay Cooperative Credit Union
- Directors : Ms. Nella Jules – Grand Bay Cooperative Credit Union
Mr. Aaron Dalrymple – National Cooperative Credit Union
Mr. Mervin Alexander – St Mary’s Cooperative Credit Union
Mr. Clement Marcellin – National Cooperative Credit Union
The Registrar looks forward to the positive contributions of the new Board.
