High Court Judge lauds fairness of DPP

High Court Judge Thomas Astaphan has lauded the efforts and work of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Sherma Dalrymple.

Speaking in court, Justice Astaphan labels DPP Sherma Dalrymple as “the best in the region” who “is not seeking victory but justice.”

“I must applaud you for your fairness and commitment to justice,” he said. His comments came as the DPP took action to either discontinue certain matters that have been long in the system.

Sherma Dalrymple was recently confirmed to the post of DPP in Dominica after having acted in that post for over two (2) years.
