The Judicial & Legal Services Commission (JLSC) has appointed Justice Zainab Alami as High Court Judge, Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court with effect from 1st September 2024; assigned to the Commonwealth of Dominica.
Justice Zainab Jawara Alami was a Judge of the High Court, Based in Banjul, The Gambia, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales (Inner Temple) and the Gambia Bar in 2000.
She is said to specialize in commercial law and Alternative Dispute Resolution; but has been dealing with all kinds of cases such as criminal cases, commercial, land, and miscellaneous matters according to her profile.
