Police in Dominica say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 23-year-old woman.
According to a release from the police, the death of Aliyah Joseph is being treated as “suspicious”.
The 23-year-old Aliyah Joseph of Delices, who resided at Laplaine, died in the Dawbiney Ward of the Dominica China Friendship Hospital on Tuesday, 8th September 2026.
“She had been a patient at the Dawbiney Ward since August 30, 2026. The cause of death is not yet known; however, the investigation is ongoing to determine how and by what means she came to her death. The CDPF extends sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, Aliyah Joseph. The release stated.
