Tyron “13” Javis in police custody for murder of Arthur Bozel

The Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of Arthur Bozel, male 47 years old of Goodwill, who resides in the United States of America and was on vacation in Dominica during the Carnival season.

According to the police report, the incident occurred on Sunday night (February 15th, 2026) on Independence Street in Roseau.

Tyron “13” Jarvis, male 40-year-old of 83 Hillsborough Street, Roseau/ Massacre and Co-Proprietor of TJ’s Enterprises, surrendered to the police immediately after the incident and remains in police custody assisting with the murder.

Police are also investigating a road traffic incident on the evening of Monday, February 16, 2026. According to the police report, Mackie McKenzie of River Street was riding a bike on Valley Road in the vicinity of the Louisville junction that was involved in the traffic incident. McKenzie was taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Dominica China Friendship Hospital, where he was examined and pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
