The Police in Dominica are investigating two murders on the island in less than 24 hours in 2022.
According to reports reaching Nature Isle News, (NIN) the body of a male with what appeared to be several stab wounds to the body was discovered between S-Mart Supermarket and Do It Center on Goodwill Road.
The body is said to be that of a Cochrane man, Miron Benjamin.
The police have since taken control of the area as they proceed with investigations in the matter.
Meantime, NIN understands that the second victim is 26-year-old Stephen Paul Jr. aka 2pac who succumbed to a gunshot wound that he received on January 2, 2022, in Trafalgar. One man is said to be assisting the police in that investigation.
In the year 2021, Dominica recorded 10 murders.
