The Dwivayez Hiking Club of Dominica has made a cash donation of over four thousand dollars to the Caribbean islands affected by Hurricane Beryl.
Speaking to Nature Isle News (NIN) in an exclusive interview, club leader IbrahimBrohim explained that this came as a result of the Club members deciding to contribute to the destruction of Hurricane Beryl.
“Members decided to use their resources to make that contribution. We remember how we were impacted over seven years ago by Hurricane Maria and then assisted by our sister Caribbean islands so as a good gesture from us we are making this contribution of cash to the Red Cross of Dominica who will then do the necessary work in getting the funds to our sister islands who were impacted,” Brohim stated.
