China has approved updated designs for the construction of six new schools in Dominica.
Speaking at a brief ceremony in the Cabinet Room, the Chinese Ambassador to Dominica Lin Xianjiang revealed that the cost of the schools at US$30 million, and this was all part of the People’s Republic of China’s commitment to Dominica.
Letters to that effect were exchanged at a ceremony.
Prime Minister Roosevelt and Education Minister Octavia Alfred also addressed the ceremony.
