Nature Isle News (NIN) can confirm that Salisbury MP and former leader of the opposition, Jesma Paul Victor, was appointed as leader of the opposition in Dominica.
Mrs Paul-Victor, an independent candidate of the Salisbury constituency, was sworn in on 20 December 2022. She resigned on 20 June 2024, and since then, Dominica has been without a leader of the opposition.
