Police Officer wins final Power Ball game in Dominica

Police Officer Dwayne Anthony Javis is the winner of the Dominica National Lotteries (DNL) Power Ball, winning over one hundred & seventy-eight thousand dollars.

Officer Javis, aged 40, told the media that “I don’t even know what to say…I am nervous and excited about my win.”

A regular player of the Lotto, he played the game at the main DNL office in Roseau.

Meanwhile, Ken George, the Marketing Manager at DNL, disclosed that it was “a bitter-sweet and sour moment for them.”

“Sweet because we have finally gotten a winner, and for that we are happy, sour, because it will be the final jackpot winner in Dominica, since we are going to replace the Powerball game very soon,” George stated.

He expressed confidence that the soon-to-be-launched new game will be more friendly for the general public.

In more DNL news, George is calling on the winner of the Super 6 jackpot to please come to the office to collect their prize. The Super 6 jackpot of over 1.1 million EC was won by a Dominican who purchased the ticket and Minya’s in Canefield.

“You have 90 days to collect your winnings, and we are calling on the person to please make themselves available,” George said.
