Son of the soil Dr. Dale Dangleben opens medical facility in village Pointe Michel

Dominican-born US-based trauma Surgeon Dr. Dale Dangleben has officially opened a medical facility in his village, Pointe Michel.

The opening ceremony heard comments from Health Minister Cassani Laville, Parliamentary representative for the area, Denise Charles-Pemberton, and the man of the moment, Dr. Dangleben, was attended by former leader of the opposition Lennox Linton, retired Justice Wynante Adrien Roberts who hails from the community of Pointe Michel, former Health Minister Dr. Kenneth Darroux, and former schoolmate of Dr. Dangleben, along with villagers.

The blessing, prayer, and invocation were done by Parish Priest Fr. Thaddeus Mama.

In his brief remarks, Minister Laville expressed his and the government of Dominica’s gratitude to Dr. Dangleben for his foresight in the opening of the health facility and pledged the full support of the government in that regard.

The Parliamentary rep for the area, Denise Charles-Pemberton, also expressed “joy” at the opening of the facility and congratulated Dr. Dangleben.

For Dr. Dangleben, it’s a “dream come true” since he always wanted to “give back not only to Dominica but to his community.
