After the match, Julius Timothy of Swansea admitted that his side was defeated by a superior Alley Boys team.
“The game last night was an excellent one. The mood, the spirit, the camaraderie, and the general atmosphere was, really, good. Unfortunately, Swansea, we lost. But I think that the game difficultly started for us. The other side got an early 200 points lead and they never really relinquished it. Whereas we came back and fought and fought and brought it down to a 100 but they brought it back up. My hats off to Alley Boys, they played well and they had the right spirit and they thought they could have taken us easily. Next time, we will see what happens,” Timothy said.
League coordinator, Delvin Esprit, congratulated all the teams and thanked them for their valuable support. He also lauded the sponsors for coming on board. A total of 20 teams participated in the league.
