The Plant Protection and Quarantine Unit of the Ministry of Blue and Green Economy, Agriculture, and National Food Security wishes to advise ALL exporters, agents, and those involved in the export of Fresh Produce via the Long House Port in Portsmouth, that inspections will now take place daily, during the hours of 9.00 am and 6.30 pm.Â
The Unit staff will now undertake inspections only during these times to ensure that fresh produce and consignments exported from Dominica are inspected thoroughly before they are approved and cleared for export. Â
Consignments that are presented after 6.00 pm will not be received. Â
The cooperation of all exporters and the public is solicited.Â
