Bath Estate continues good form

Former champions Happi Bath Estate FC has continued its impressive form as the action continued in the Dominica Football Association Premier Division League.

The former champions picked up their 3rd win in their last four outings with a comfortable victory on Friday evening at the Almond Park in Dublanc.

In the only scheduled encounter, Happi Bath Estate FC secured a comfortable two goals to nil win over relegation-threatened Exodus FC.

Denzel Lawrence gave his club the go-ahead goal in the 61st minute of play after the first half ended at love all. Ten minutes before the final whistle, national under 20 players Marcellus Bonney added his name to the score sheet.

The win has now pushed Bath Estate FC to 20 points from 12 games while Exodus FC has picked up just one point in 12 games.

When the Premier Division action continues on Saturday, LA Bombers Enterprises FC will put their four games winning streak on the line when they do battle against the impressive East Central FC from 4 pm at the Almond Park in Dublanc.

In another scheduled encounter, Promex Harlem United will try to put their three games losing streak behind them when they take on WE United FC from 4 pm at the Benjamin Park in Portsmouth.

On Sunday, at the Benjamin Park, Central Cooperative Credit Union LTD FC will square off against Petro Caribe Pointe Michel FC at 4 pm, while at the Almond Park, defending champions Sagicor South East will try to go further in the lead when they do battle against Belfast Estate Mahaut Soca Strikers FC from 4 pm.

Meanwhile, Petro Caribe Pointe Michel FC cruised to an easy victory in the Division One League. In the encounter which took place at the Almond Park in Dublanc on Thursday, Pointe Michel FC whipped newcomers Do It Center Mighty Avengers FC by six goals to two.

Perry Charles found the back of the net twice for the winners while one goal each came from Turram Toussaint, Jante Casimir, Donte Warrington, and Marcus Bredas.

Raheim Greer scored both goals for Mighty Avengers FC.
