Alexan Alexander who on December 30, 2022, murdered Dr. Velma Valmond at Jewels Lane in Goodwill has been formally charged with the offense and made his first court appearance.
The matter was adjourned to June 16, 2023, at the request of the prosecution. He is also charged with attempting to murder Daisey Earleen Durand on the same date.
He is represented in the matter by lawyer Geoffery Letang. He has been remanded at the Stock Farm Prison pending his trial.
