Ex-Boyfriend Allegedly Breaks into Apartment and Assaults Woman, Charged with Multiple Offenses

ST. THOMAS — A man accused of forcing entry into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment and assaulting her was arrested on several charges, including violating a court order.

When police arrived at a unit in Bovoni Building just after 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18, they met a woman who told them that a few minutes earlier, as she was leaving for work, she opened the door to find Nigel Olivacce standing in the doorway.

The woman told police that she immediately tried to close the door, but Olivacce pushed his way inside, asking where she had been for the past two weeks. She said she asked him to leave, but instead, he pushed her down onto the couch.

During the incident, the woman told police that Olivacce punched her in the left side of her face. Hyperventilating, she reportedly got up to open a window, and her ex-boyfriend told her that he would kill her. After that, Olivacce made his exit, leaving his phone behind.https://viconsortium.com/vi-crime/virgin-islands-ex-boyfriend-allegedly-breaks-into-apartment-and-assaults-woman-charged-with-multiple-offenses
