Murder accused Lenly Stephen granted bail by consent

By consent, murder accused Lenly Stephen has been granted bail by the high court in the sum of $150,000.00 with two sureties. He is charged with the murder of Ned James Ettinoffe at the same address on January 14, 2023.

As part of his bail conditions, the Applicant shall report to and sign in at the Roseau Police Station every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday between 6 am and 6 pm. He shall reside in Kingshill and shall not contact and or communicate in any way directly or indirectly with any civilian witness in this case.

Also, he shall not be within 25 feet of any civilian State witness in this case nor any place where any civilian state witness in this case lives, works, or goes to school.

He is also forbidden from possessing any weapons, bladed weapons, imitation, etc., and shall not apply for any license authorization or a registration certificate for any such reference to the above. He is also to remain in Dominica and was to deposit his passport and all travel documents with the high court registry upon his release and not apply for any passports or travel documents while this case is pending.

He is warned to keep the peace. Any breach of the terms of his bail shall result in immediate revocation.

He is represented in the matter by HAJ law firm of Joshua Francis and Destiny Pascal.
