Police apprehend a man in a hit and run traffic accident

Police have made a breakthrough in a “hit and run” traffic accident that took place on the evening of Sunday 12, July 2020 on the Potterville high way close to CADREC Auto parts.

Video footage released showed a bus driving west hitting an individual and not stopping to deal with the matter.

This evoked reactions from all over with people taking to social media calling on the driver to “own up.”

Reports then emerged, that the bus involved in the “hit and run” is owned by an individual from Pointe Michel and the bus was brought for repairs the following day July 13, 2020.

Police have confirmed that Ian Wilkins who is mentally ill was the person hit and they have since picked up an individual who is assisting them with the investigations.

“We have gone to the crime scene and done the necessary work, the individual was brought in by his lawyer and we are proceeding from there,” a top police source told NIN.

Since then, Shepard Fregiste of “Shepee Fun Tours” has released the following statement on his face book page.

Blessings to all,

“Would like all my fans and everyone else out there to know that Shepee was not the driver at the time of the unfortunate incident. I cannot say anything much right now as the situation is currently under investigation. An official statement will be sent out afterward. One love and thank you for your continued support. Please share.”
