One man has been arrested and charged for a shooting incident that occurred on January 2, 2022.
According to the head of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Assistant Superintendent Belgrove Charles has Job Jean of Portsmouth was formally charged over the weekend.
Jean, who is expected to appear before a magistrate on January 31, 2022, is charged with shooting with intent to cause grievous bodily harm to Karim Abraham of Yam-Piece.
The police have also indicated that investigations are at an advanced stage into the shooting death of Steven Paul Jr which occurred on January 2, 2022, and they are expected to make an arrest soon.
