Police Constable Marvin Daniel has been granted bail of five thousand dollars by Magistrate Michael Laudat at the Roseau Magistrate’s court.
He was arrested on the strength of a warrant obtained by the police for that he on August 10, 2022, at Anse sol dat did obstruct constable Delroy Jno Charles while in the execution of his duties. He is also charged with assaulting Constable Delroy Jno Charles on the same date while in the execution of his duties.
The prosecution is led by Inspector Davidson Cadette and they did not object to bail. They also did not impose any conditions on his bail. Eustace Fabien of Bense stood as his surety.
He is to surrender to the jurisdiction of the court on November 11, 2022. Constable Marvin Daniel is represented by lawyer Cara Shillingford-Marsh.
