Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

High pressure is expected to become dominant today, following the passage of a weak low-level trough. A few showers are likely to occur over the island, during the morning and overnight periods. On Saturday, a shearline is projected to support some scattered showers across the northern portion of the Lesser Antilles.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 48 hours, with waves peaking near 7.0ft along the eastern coastline.
