Weak unstable conditions and elevated moisture levels are expected to produce occasionally cloudy skies with a few showers over the island, during the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, a surface to low-level trough is expected to continue to affect the southern portion of the island chain resulting in increased cloudiness and shower activity. A wetter weather pattern is likely across Dominica, from Thursday into Saturday.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves peaking at 5.0ft. Northerly swells of up to 8.0ft can be expected on Wednesday.
