A high-pressure system is expected to rebuild across the area today. There is likely some cloudiness with a few showers, mainly during the morning and overnight periods.
A slight improvement in sea conditions is anticipated during the next 24 hours, with swells up to 7.0ft, on the northern and eastern coastlines. A High Surf Advisory remains in effect. Small-craft operators and sea-bathers around the island are advised to exercise caution.
