Forecast for Today and Tonight:

Partly cloudy to cloudy, slightly hazy, and breezy at times with some scattered showers

Wind: North easterly to East South easterly @ 15 to 35 km/h with higher gusts near showers

Sea Conditions: Moderate in open water

Waves: 2.0 to 2.5 meters or 7.0 to 8.0 feet.

Warning/Advisory: A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for above normal seas

Sunrise: 6:30 AM

Sunset: 6:09 PM

Low Tide: 7:40 AM and 9:18 PM

High Tide: 2:51 AM and 2:03 PM

Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

Valid from 6:00 AM on Monday, February 14, 2022

A surface to low-level trough is expected to result in an increase in cloudiness with scattered showers, across the Lesser Antilles during the next 24 hours. A layer of Saharan dust is also projected to begin affecting the area. 

Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with wave heights peaking near 8.0ft, in eastern coastal waters. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for above normal seas. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution. A further increase in wind speed and wave heights can again be expected by Tuesday into Wednesday.
