Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

An increase in moisture and mid to upper-level instability is expected to result in generally cloudy skies with scattered showers during the next 24 hours. Shower activity could be moderate to heavy in some areas, particularly over the eastern parts of Dominica, and could result in flooding and landslides. People in areas prone to prone flooding, landslides, and falling rocks are asked to remain vigilant today.
Moderate to rough seas are anticipated during the next 48 hours, with waves increasing to near 10.0ft today. A Small Craft Warning is in effect for above-normal seas along the northern, eastern, and southern coastline. Small craft operators should exercise caution. Sea-bathers should stay out of the water.
