Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

A frontal trough is expected to be the dominant feature across the area during the next 24 hours. This will result in occasional cloudiness and a few showers over the island today, with an increase in shower activity expected from tomorrow, Tuesday. Light winds and cooler temperatures will also be evident during the period.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 to 48 hours, with waves peaking to 7.0ft along the eastern coastline. A High Surf Advisory is in effect for possible swells along the western coast. Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution.
