Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles
Valid from: 6:00 AM on Wednesday, January 4, 2023
A surface-to-low-level high-pressure system is expected to continue to be the dominant feature across the Lesser Antilles. Patches of low-level clouds within the trade wind flow together with weak low-level instability will result in scattered showers over the islands, particularly overnight.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 to 48 hours, with waves peaking at 8.0ft and increasing along the eastern coastline. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect. Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution.
