Patches of low-level clouds within a moderate trade wind flow and adequate upper-level instability are expected to support light to moderate showers over the island today. People in areas prone to rock falls and landslides should be vigilant. Loose objects can become missiles in high winds and should be secured.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 to 48 hours, with waves peaking at 8.0ft along the eastern coastline. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect. Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution.Â
