Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

An upper-level trough is expected to support an increase in cloudiness and shower activity across most of the Lesser Antilles, mainly during the morning. Relatively drier and more stable conditions are expected over Dominica during the afternoon. This is likely to be temporary as an increase in low-level moisture is projected for the overnight period.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours, with waves peaking at 7.0ft in eastern coastal waters. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise some caution.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
