Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles
Valid from: 6:00 AM on Tuesday, June 14, 2022
Moisture trailing a tropical wave and the presence of an upper-level trough is expected to support an increase in cloudiness, showers, and possible thunderstorm activity across parts of the Lesser Antilles during the next 24 hours. These conditions are expected to persist into Wednesday, as another tropical wave is projected to move across the island chain.
Dust haze will persist through the week, in varying concentrations. People with respiratory sensitivities should take precautions to avoid complications.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours, with waves peaking at 7.0ft in eastern coastal waters. Small-craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
