Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

A mid to upper level trough located to the east of the Lesser Antilles will be the dominant feature during the next 24 hours. This is expected to provide support for increased cloudiness and shower activity, with a slight chance of thunderstorms, over the northern half of the island chain, including Dominica.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours, with waves peaking to 8.0ft, along the eastern coastline. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for above normal seas on the eastern coast. Small-craft operators should exercise caution. Sea-bathers should stay away from the water.
