A high pressure system is expected to strengthen across the area during the next 24 hours resulting in breezy conditions. Low-level moisture within the wind flow is expected to produce cloudiness with scattered showers over the island during the period.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 12 to 24 hours with wave heights increasing to peak to 8.0ft today, in eastern coastal waters. A further increase to near 10.0ft is expected tonight. Small-craft operators should exercise extreme caution. Sea-bathers should stay out of the water.
