A high pressure system is expected to be dominant across the area during the next 24 hours. Low-level moisture within a moderate wind flow is likely to produce periods of cloudiness with a few showers, over the island, during the period. A slight increase in shower activity is possible from Wednesday into Thursday.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours, with waves peaking near 10.0ft, along the eastern coastline. A Small Craft Warning is in effect for above normal seas, in Dominica coastal waters. Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should stay away from the water.
