DFA awaits referees report to determine last qualifier

Promex Harlem United secured the third quarterfinal spot in the 2022 Dominica Football Association Patrick John Cup. In the quarterfinal action on Friday at the Benjamin Park in Portsmouth, Harlem defeated Mahaut Soca Strikers by three goals to nil to book their spot in the last four.

National player, Audel Laville took his tally of goals to eight in the competition when he converted in the first half of play. Yveterson Xavier and Tyriq Jno Baptiste converted one goal each.

Meanwhile, the DFA will have to await the referee’s report before determining the last semi-final qualifier. That’s because the scheduled match between Petro Caribe Pointe Michel FC and Central Cooperative Credit Union Dublanc LTD FC ended prematurely with eight minutes left into the encounter. The premature end to the match was a result of insufficient balls to continue the match. At the time the match was blown off, Dublanc FC enjoyed five goals to-one lead. Travist Joseph scored a hat trick while there was one goal each for Shikel St. Marie and Jervani Xavier. Randolph Peltier scored for Pointe Michel FC. The match was played at the Stockfarm Sports Complex on Friday evening.
