The Ministry of Education, Human Resource Planning, Vocational Training, and National Excellence, in partnership with the Dominica TVET Council, is proud to announce the inaugural National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Award Ceremony, taking place on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 2:30 PM at the State House Conference Room.
This event will honor 60 candidates who have completed various skills programs under the SkYE funding arrangement from 2019 to 2022. These candidates, selected from portfolios submitted by participating training institutions represent the first cohort eligible for
CVQ certification in the future.
The ceremony will celebrate their achievements and underscore the critical role that Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs play in developing a skilled and certified workforce in Dominica.
