The Dominica State College (DSC) announces the revised dates to their academic calendar as preparations continue for the start of semester two in the academic year 2022-2023. The College intends to return to face-to-face learning and awaits the completion of renovations to its lower campus.
A press release from the College thanked students and stakeholders for their patience and understanding as they “forge ahead with preparations for the return of face-to-face learning for semester 2, the academic year 2022-2023.
“We have made a few amendments to our academic calendar: on February 13th, students will begin enrollment for classes on the online student portal, Classe365; Clinical Nursing Students will begin rotations from February 6th; Teaching Practice will resume from February 6th; JBTE classes commenced on January 25th and continues on the upper campus; also, short courses and Mandarin classes will resume on campus. It is anticipated that all other classes will resume, on campus, towards the end of February 2023.,” said Monelle Alexis, Public Relations and Student Recruitment Officer, DSC.
In the release, she disclosed that contractors are currently carrying out repairs to Dominica State College’s lower campus.
“Contractors are currently on site carrying out repairs to the lower campus classrooms required for face-to-face teaching. Once repairs are completed, we look forward to having our students back on campus to resume the highly anticipated, collegial face-to-face learning experience,” she said.
