Dublanc FC suffer back to back defeats

Former champions Happi Bath Estate FC picked up a huge win last weekend when the action continued in the Dominica Football Association (DFA) Premier Division League.

After securing a hard-fought come from behind two goals to one win over Harlem Sports Club in their last outing of the first round, Bath Estate FC handed former champions Central Cooperative Credit Union LTD Dublanc FC their second defeat in as many encounters.

In the fixture played at the Benjamin Park in Portsmouth, national player Kelrick Walter scored in the 32nd minute of play to secure that all-important win.

The win pushes Bath Estate FC to 5th place while Dublanc FC drops to 4th place.

Meanwhile, in the other Premier Division match played on Sunday, Exodus FC remains winless after going down by two goals to one against Belfast Estate Mahaut Soca Strikers FC. Kemon Walter opened the scoring for Exodus early in the proceedings only to have his goal canceled out by Jerran Sebastien ten minutes later, in the 18th minute of play. Mael John got the winner 14 minutes into the second half of play.

In results of the Division One League on Sunday, RC Doctors FC edged out Calibishie Diasporas FC by one goal to nil at the Benjamin Park. The only goal of the match came from the boots of Omarion Francis midway through the first half.

In another encounter, ACS Pottersville Tarish United FC secured four goals to nil victory over Mighty Avengers FC at the Newtown Savannah. Jarik Parker, Jonathan Abel, Fabio Roberts, and Davon Valmond scored one goal each for the winners.
