The date is set and the Episcopal Ordination of Bishop-elect Kendrick J Forbes, J.C.L as Bishop of Roseau is to take place on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 4 pm in Roseau Dominica.
July 25, 2024, is also the Feast of St. James, Apostle. On Thursday, May 2, 2024, the Vatican made public, that Pope Francis had selected Mosignor Kendrick Forbes from the Archdiocese of Nassau Bahamas as the new Bishop of the Diocese of Roseau.
Meantime, Bishop-elect Forbes will make his maiden visit to the Diocese of Roseau on May 13, 2024, where he will meet with priests, Deacons, Sisters, and Brothers working in the Diocese on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.
He will be accompanied by His Grace Archbishop of Castries Gabriel Malzaire the Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Roseau.
Bishop-elect Forbes will depart the island on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
