A senior football administrator on the island has been suspended from participating in all activities organized under the auspices of the Dominica Football Association.
General Secretary of the DFA, Jarsmine Vidal Matthew, via letter dated July 6th, 2022, informed Sheldon Casimir of Promex Harlem United of his suspension. In the letter, she stated that Casimir’s behavior at a May 11th DFA meeting was disruptive. She further wrote that he made certain remarks and stormed off the meeting while it was in progress. She deemed his behavior unacceptable.
Casimir, who holds the vice president’s position at his club, made his remarks in the presence of FIFA representative, Lenny Lake, who was on the island at the time and attended the meeting. It is not the first time that Casimir is being reprimanded for such behavior. A few years ago, he was banned by the Disciplinary Committee of the DFA for a similar offense and asked to publicly apologize to DFA president Glen Etienne
The DFA’s Disciplinary Committee is headed by attorney Ronald Charles.
What were the comments. I’d very much like to know. Those who indulge in lies are never happy when the truth show. Under speculation, I’d say he try to expose you and so it was deemed he had to go. But I can’t be certain, so what were his comments, let us know.
