Government makes a brief amendment to the 24-hour curfew for today

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has made two (2) brief amendments to the curfew orders announced last evening. After announcing that Dominica had recorded 103 COVID-19 cases, the Dominican leader imposed a weekend lockdown curfew on the country.

In a brief address on State-run DBS and speaking with DBS’s New Editor Curtis Matthew, the Prime Minister announced that grocery shops and those in the village were allowed to open from 10am to 1pm today and citizens must shop in their communities where grocery shops are available and also adhere to the strict COVID-19 guidelines and protocols. Gas stations are also granted the same courtesies until 1 pm today.
