Jason Grogg responds to “Feed My Sheep”

The Truth and Feed My Sheep

By Jason Grogg

Truth First

Let us understand the “standard” I use for the word Truth.

Scripture from Genesis to Revelation is our guide to Truth.

The sum of Your Word is truth, and every one of Your righteous rules endures forever. Psalms 119:160

In this highly subjective and emotionally muddy world of ours, the feelings don’t care about the facts and the facts don’t care about the feelings. When you consider the outcome of the inevitable collision between these two non-caring realities, the realization dawns. The facts are rigid, unyielding, hard, granite-like. Not only do they not care, but they also are not going anywhere. The feelings are oily, fog-like, and wispy; but they are going somewhere — the way of hurricane-force winds.

The fact that we live in relativistic times, means we no longer respect the authority of argument. We do not seek to prove things, but rather to score cheap points, as Feed My Sheep (FMS) has tried to do. In this kind of scenario, it would be frightfully easy for me to score points. It would be easy to slam dunk on FMS. However, I operate by a standard; I seek the wisdom of Scripture and the will of the Heavenly Father. So if you are looking for a juicy tidbit about FMS, stop reading… It’s not here. There is no need for me to slander or malign what they are. Their actions against me speak more clearly than I ever could.

We are witnessing, seeing with our eyes, what happens when a Christian ministry of 30 years forgets their God and attempts to use His name for financial gain. Feed “My” Sheep…Who’s sheep? God will not be mocked and He does not forget the sins committed against children.

Let’s unpack

A deception is an act of war, and the same distinctions that we make between murder and killing must be made between lying and lawful deception. The sinful forms of deception are those which introduce a state of civil war and animosity into communities that ought to be at peace. The ninth commandment is primarily about perjury (although other forms of deception outside of court are certainly subsumed under it). When someone bears false witness against his neighbor, he is introducing a state of settled animosity where there ought to be peace. Paul tells the Colossians that they are not to lie to one another, seeing how they have put off the old man with its evil practices. And this is why the Lake of Fire is reserved for liars. God hates those who sow discord among the brethren. One of the principal tools in their toolbox is the lie.

Because lying is at the bottom, an act of war, this is why God hates it so much. The Bible says that He hates a lying tongue. This is why unfounded accusations are so destructive. Such assertions set people at odds, introduce conflict, they stir up mayhem in the world of relationships. It is a weighty thing to call a man a liar and involves far more than the simple claim that you believe him to be in error.

The irony here is that you do not have to teach anyone how to make these distinctions. We make them ourselves, naturally and readily, provided we are the ones accused of being a liar. Feed My Sheep’s willfulness, stubbornness, and all the real problems come when they (for personal reasons) refuse to extend biblical principles. Instead, they chose to defame me publicly by using “media releases.” That is an act of a coward or in this case, a coward.

Now, stay with me one minute more because this is the tricky bit. A number of people have been industriously trying to build up a cottage industry (maybe they are looking for government funding) by accusing me of various kinds of nefarious business, and included in my alleged skullduggery is lying. Now, when these people accuse me of lying, are they lying? I say they are, but I will let you decide. Someone is a liar when they know that I have spoken the truth, and they say, contrary to this, that I have lied, and they do this to get other people to believe it. I can and must say, “This charge is false.” But why would someone bring such a false charge? Lying is one possibility, but there are many others. The other motives that might provoke such a false charge against someone are rarely noble, but this is just another way of saying that lying is not the only sin in the world of defamation.

I’ve seen enough in my 15 months of working closely with FMS to know that they will not survive an audit. Something I will be calling for in the legal arena. They are wanting to take hold of the spotlight and shine it on me. Thank you for handing me the stage, and pushing my name out in a way that I could never have done on my own. To that, I say: To the Glory of God! Let this be a witness to all those who wish to choose chaos over Christ.

Keep in mind, this is a continuing battle and because of that, you will only get limited information from me at this time. Soon, if God permits, I will have a website with all the information, documents, videos, chats, etc., that will allow everyone to see the sins of FMS. Below is the link to our Gab page that has a timeline of events in our March newsletter. Pray for those who have attacked my family, whose minds are bent, who seek street justice while ignoring their long “forgotten” sins, and pray that they will be brought low and seek God’s forgiveness.

Christ or chaos!

Wisdom from Above

Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above but is earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

James 3:13-18

Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous about what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame. For it is better to suffer for doing good if that should be God’s will than for doing evil.

1 Peter 3:13-17

For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”

Mark 7: 21-23

EDITOR’S NOTE

Since Feed My Sheep made certain accusations against Jason Groog that we published, we as a responsible media organization felt it our responsibility to also publish his response. It is our hope that this matter is settled in the most amicable manner for the benefit of all concerned.
