East Central FC and Police Sports Club enjoyed success on Wednesday evening when the action continued in the Dominica Football Association Division One League.
In one of two matches played, East Central FC cruised to five goals to one triumph over Calibishie Diasporas FC at the Benjamin Park in Portsmouth. Ricardo George found the back of the net twice for the winners while there was one goal each for Starrel Seraphine, Jason Joseph, and Felix Prosper.
In the other encounter at the Almond Park in Dublanc, Police Sports Club got the better of Busta Warner FC by two goals to one. Daniel Ormond and Kenny Thomas with one goal each were the players on target for the lawmen. Dervon Francis scored the lone goal for Busta Warner FC.
The action will continue on Thursday with RIC Kensboro United looking to avenge their last defeat when they take on Promex Harlem United from 6 pm at the Almond Park in Dublanc in a Group One encounter.
On Friday, at the Benjamin Park in Portsmouth, RC Doctors FC will look for their second win in as many outings when they do battle against BAA Sharks FC from 6 pm.
