Dominica’s Police Chief Daniel Carbon has cleared his desk and will proceed on long leave effective the first week in September. Since replacing Cyril Carette back in 2012 Carbon has not taken vacation leave and according to a well-placed source, his leave is expected to send him into retirement.
“All I can say to you is that he is clearing his desk and from next week will proceed on long leave into retirement, and that is as much as I will say for now,” the source told Nature Isle News (NIN). Deputy Chief of Police Lincon Corbette is expected to be appointed acting Chief of Police.
Over the past days, there have been speculations as to when Carbon is expected to do on leave and who will hold the reins of Deputy Chief since Corbette will assume the top post.
I am so happy it was time for that dirty… to clear the desk.. he just in the seat appointing who he want and persons who deserve position he cramping them. Son of a bitch
